The Twisted Band Cap is a knitted summer cap inspired by the classic paperboy hat. It is
knitted in a cotton and linen blend, making it comfortable to wear on warm days. The cap is
knitted with the purl side facing out, which creates an almost woven look. To give the cap a
firm structure, it is knitted at a relatively tight gauge. Around the head sits a band with a small
fold that adds an edge to the design. The cap has a firm brim, which can either be reused
from an old cap or is included when the pattern is purchased as a kit.
