Fivel is a soft and airy 2-ply carded yarn made from 100% Norwegian lamb's wool. The yarn is spun from fine fibres from Norwegian lambs and has a light, lively structure that results in soft and warm projects with a natural look. Fivel is well suited for stockinette stitch, textured knitting, and fair isle, and it can also be used for felting. It is one of Rauma's softest Norwegian wool yarns – and it only gets softer after washing.
Since the yarn is lightly spun, it may pill when used. This is completely natural and can easily be removed with a lint remover.
